Work with any of our employees to help ensure a smooth transition. We’re here to assist you as much or as little as you need:

  • Open a New Account: Visit any of our 12 convenient locations. You'll need your Social Security Number and ID.
  • Update Automatic Payments and bill pay: Review your old bank statements for recurring payments like utilities and subscriptions. Don’t forget about yearly transactions.
  • Transfer Direct Deposits: Inform your employer and any other income sources about your new account information.
  • Transfer Funds: Move your money from your old account to your new one but keep a small balance in the old account to cover any missed transactions.
  • Monitor both accounts: Keep an eye on both accounts to catch any missed payments or deposits.
  • Close Your Old Account: After you’ve completed the switch, wait about a month, then contact your previous bank to close all your accounts.
  • Dispose of Old Checks and Cards: For your security, shred old checks and cut up your old cards.
